Hey friends! I hope you and your family are staying safe and well!
I’m here with another simple calligraphy tutorial. If you haven’t watched my first video, Calligraphy for Beginners, you can click here to find the tutorial. That first tutorial walks you through the basic techniques you need to know. Once you have a grasp on those techniques, you can begin to do basic lettering! Yay!!!
In this tutorial I will show you how to get started using your Tombow Dual Brush Pens direct to paper. Direct to paper just means that we are using the makers directly on the paper – no blending or watercoloring, etc. There are many different blending techniques that we will discuss in tutorials down the road, but for now we will just focus on getting used to using your brush pens.
In this tutorial I will also show you how I use a gray marker to write my rough draft of my lettering, and I’ll discuss what different types of paper will work best with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens that I recommend.
