Looking for some cute napkin rings that won’t break the bank? Look no further! These DIY napkin rings are cute, simple, and easy – and there are options!
Supplies:
- cardstock – white, natural, paper bag
- stamps – I’ve listed different options of alphabet stamps because my favorite stamps are often sold out online. Check out the options below!
- click here to get the ones I used from Michaels. These are my favorite stamps, and I have used them for SO many craft projects! If these are out of stock online (which happens often), you can check to see if they are at a store near you. I recommend using the “buy online, pickup in store” option (you pick them up the same day you order them) so that you don’t drive to a store just to find out the stamps they had sold before you got there. I’m telling you these suckers go quickly!
- click here to get some cute clear alphabet stamps from Amazon. These are very similar to my favorite set from Michaels, however they are just a little bit smaller in size.
- ink pad – click here to see the one I used from Michaels, or click here to get a similar one from Amazon.
- acrylic block (if using the clear stamps) – click here to shop Michaels acrylic blocks, or click here to buy similar ones from Amazon.
- twine – click here to shop Michaels twine, or click here to shop twine on Amazon OR any ribbon/lace you have on hand!
- hole punch
- scissors or paper trimmer (*note* if you don’t have a paper trimmer like this one, you need one! I promise it is worth every penny! It makes cutting straight lines so much easier!)

Instructions:
- cut a piece of cardstock. I cut a strip that was 1 1/8 inch tall x 11 inches wide (the length of the piece of cardstock)
- stamp your desired words or names on the cardstock
- cut the words apart, leaving about 1/2 inch extra on each side of the word
- punch a hole on each side of the word
- use ribbon, lace, or twine to wrap the cardstock around your napkins. I’ll show a few different options below. You can totally change up the look of these by what cardstock and ribbon you use!
***
For the napkin ring above I used twine to wrap it around the napkin. I attached the twine to the cardstock the same way you’d attach a luggage tag to a suitcase. See below for detailed pics.
***
For the napkin ring above I just used a little piece of lace. I didn’t even tie knots in the lace or anything – I told you these were easy 🙂
***
For this napkin ring I used a piece of wider lace. I looped this lace through the cardstock the same way I did with the piece of lace on the napkin ring above. But I left this lace long so that I could tie the ends in the back.
Your options are endless with these hand stamped napkin rings! I can’t wait to see what all of you come up with!
