If you’re looking for a fun and simple craft – whether it’s to do by yourself, or with your kiddos – this is it! My two oldest daughters were super excited to craft with me, and we had a blast making these salt dough hearts!
Aren’t they adorable?! I really don’t think they could be any cuter!
Supplies:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of salt
- 1/2 cup of water
- white craft paint (optional)
- cookie cutters – click here to get the exact set I have! This set includes 3 different sizes of plain hearts and 3 different sizes of scalloped hearts.
- alphabet stamps – you can get the set I used here, or you can shop sets on Amazon here and here
- wood stamps: I’ve found several different options of wood stamps that are similar to the ones I used.
- clear love stamps (I could not find the exact set I used, and these were the closest thing I could find): click here to check them out!
- acrylic blocks (ONLY needed if using clear clings stamps): you can shop Amazon here, or Michaels here.
- black wire: the wire I used is from Hobby Lobby, but isn’t online. You can click here to get something similar from Amazon.
- natural cord: click here to shop
- pliers/wire cutters: click here to shop

Hi! Maybe try brown on the hearts instead of black. That way they’ll look “antiqued”.
Love this idea Lynda! Thanks!
