5 Minute Slime

My girls love making slime and we’ve tried all the recipes, and I’m here to tell you that this is the easiest slime to make! So if you’ve been intimidated or scared to make slime, it’s time to conquer your fears! 🙂 This slime only requires 2 ingredients, and it takes less than 5 minutes to make!

Supplies:

  • Elmer’s Magical Liquid – click here to shop at Amazon, or click here to shop at Target
  • Elmer’s Metallic Glue – click here for the exact glue we used

Instructions:

Watch the video below to see how we made our slime in 5 minutes!

  1. Pour half a bottle of glue into a bowl. We made small batches of slime, so for our slime we started with half a bottle of glue.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of magical liquid, and stir. (Remember – the magical liquid bottle gives you instructions on the back of their bottle, however we ended up using way more magical liquid than they instructed.)
  3. Keep adding more magical liquid (a little bit at a time), and stirring, until the slime is not sticky, and not sticking to your fingers or the spoon you’re stirring with.
  4. If for some reason the slime gets too slimey and isn’t sticking together, you can add more glue to make it more sticky.
  5. That’s really all there is to it – it’s that simple! Start with the glue and add the magical liquid a little bit at a time until the consistency is what you want! If you use your fingers and they get sticky from the glue, it’s best to clean them off before touching the slime again – otherwise the slime will keep seeming sticky because of the glue on your hands.
