DIY Play Dough Stamps

My girls love playing with play dough and salt dough (you can find my salt dough recipe here) so I thought it would be fun to make some DIY play dough stamps for them to use when they play with salt dough or play dough. These are so easy and cheap to make, and your kiddos will have a blast with them!

And don’t forget that if you use salt dough, you can make little door hangers, or ornaments like I did here. These stamps would be perfect to make fun imprints in the salt dough with, and then you can cut out the imprints with a cookie cutter, let the dough dry, and keep the little ornaments forever!

Instructions:

First I picked out 2 wood embellishments for each wood block. I made each block double-sided, with 2 embellishments on each.

Then I painted wood glue on the wood embellishments, one at a time, and then placed the wood embellishments onto the wood blocks.

Next I stacked some items on top of the blocks to apply a little bit of weight to them so that the items would attach better. I let the glue set for a full 24 hours before using.

Then I let my little one have a blast with them! She loved them so much that she played with them for over an hour!
