Christmas Mason Jar

Well it hasn’t snowed here yet, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have some adorable wintery decor! This cute little Christmas Mason Jar takes less than 10 minutes to make, and it’s the perfect holiday decoration! Use it as part of your Christmas table centerpiece – or heck, make 5 of them using different size mason jars to make a complete centerpiece! I have my Christmas Mason Jar sitting on my mantle on top of a winter hand stamped book stack!

Instructions:

  1. Pour some epsom salt into a bowl, and then mix in a little glitter until the “snow mixture” is as sparkly as you’d like.
  2. Pour the snow mixture into the mason jar.
  3. Place your mini trees inside the mason jar, making sure to push them into the snow enough so that the base of the trees are completely covered.
  4. Wrap the mouth of the mason jar with twine, and then tie the twine in a bow.
  5. Dab little bits of the snow-tex onto the rim of the mason jar using your finger.
  6. Dab a tiny bit of snow-tex on the top of the bow loops.
  7. That’s it! Yay! I told you it was a quick craft 🙂
