DIY Shaker Tags

Okay friends, I’m here with another fuse tool/shaker craft. If you missed the DIY Shaker Bookmarks tutorial, click here to check it out – I went more in depth about how to use the tools in that tutorial, so if you aren’t familiar with using a fuse tool, start there. But in this quick tutorial I’m showing you another cute little craft you can make with those same tools!

These little DIY Shaker Tags are perfect to use as gift tags, or to hang in your home as decor! They’re really super cute!

Below is a close-up of one of the little tags! Adorable, right?!

Supplies:

  • fuse tool – I also got this set (that has two other decorative tips) to play with but they are not needed for this specific craft.
  • fuseables clear sheets
  • fuse mat
  • die-cuts
  • scrapbook paper – If you’re using die-cuts for the tags, you only need scrap pieces of scrapbook paper to make the little ribbon tags that go by the eyelets. However if you don’t want to use the die-cut tags, you can make your own tags out of any scrapbook paper.
  • craft tape – shop Michaels here, and Amazon here
  • paper trimmer – shop Michaels here, and Amazon here
  • bakers twine – shop Michaels here, or Amazon here
  • glitter
    • fine silver glitter
    • pink/purple glitter mix – there are multiple color options, I used the color Prism.
    • unfortunately the gold/white star glitter mix is from Target and not sold online or in the store anymore. However, Michaels has a great collection of glitter. Click here to check out all of Michaels options! They have a lot of chunky glitter options (in various shapes) and cute sequins too!
  • crop-a-dile hole punch and eyelet setter – shop Michaels here, and Amazon here
  • eyelets – I got this set & this set. There are also these two sets of eyelets that I have and love – pastel eyelets and bright eyelets.
  • scissors
  • spoon
