Embroidery Hoop Ornaments

Stamping on muslin,
And lovely frayed edges,
Plaid Christmas fabrics and small crafty messes,
Embroidery hoops hung with lace and some string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

In case you couldn’t tell, these might be my favorite ornaments yet! They’re adorable, and farmhousey (it’s a word lol).

Supplies:

  • 4″ embroidery hoops – shop Michaels embroidery hoops here, or shop Amazon embroidery hoops here. There’s also this set which is a better bang for your buck!
  • stamps – I’ve listed a few different options of alphabet stamps because my favorite stamps are often sold out online. Check out the options below!
    • click here to get the ones I used from Michaels. These are my favorite stamps, and I have used them for SO many craft projects! If they are sold out online, you can search your area to find them in a store near you, and you can place an online order to pick up in that store the same day – that way you know they actually have them in stock!
    • click here to shop clear alphabet stamps from Amazon.
  • ink padclick here to see the one I used from Michaels, or click here to get a similar one from Amazon.
  • acrylic block (if using the clear stamps) – click here to shop Michaels acrylic blocks, or click here to buy similar ones from Amazon.
  • twineclick here to shop Michaels twine, or click here to shop twine on Amazon.
  • muslin fabric – shop Michaels muslin here, or Amazon muslin here.
  • Christmas fabric – mine are all from Hobby Lobby, but you can find some great options (like this one) on Amazon.
  • scissors – I highly recommend getting a nice pair of fabric scissors that you only use for fabric – it’s a game changer! You can get the fabric scissors that I use from Michaels here, or from Amazon here
  • lace (optional) – this is the lace that I used.
  • greenery (optional) – shop greenery options from Michaels here and here’s an option from Amazon.
