Paint Sample Magnets

Okay friends, this is a super simple 5 minute craft that is so much fun to make! It’s also super cheap, and it’s perfect to do with kiddos as well.

Supplies:

  • paint samples (I grabbed several at Home Depot in the paint department – they’re free)
  • scissors or a paper trimmer
  • pen/stickers/sharpie
  • magnets – I used magnetic adhesive strips that you can cut down to any size. These are SUPER easy to work with.

Instructions:

  1. Cut your paint samples down to the desired size. I trimmed mine so that none of the writing that was on the front of the paint samples shows.
  2. Write a cute phrase, quote, note, reminder, etc on the paint sample. You can use a pen, stickers, sharpies, etc.
  3. Cut 2 small pieces of adhesive magnet for each paint sample.
  4. Peel off the adhesive backing and place one magnet at the top of the paint sample, and one at the bottom.
  5. Put your magnet up on your fridge, locker, whiteboard, etc. Enjoy!
