I saw these adorable shaker wands on Instagram on @woodenthatbesomethin’s Instagram page. She has so many cute crafts and DIYs, but these shaker wands jumped out at me! My girls LOVE pastels and all things smiley faces, so I knew these would be a huge hit! I went ahead and made these for my girls for their last day of school, as a fun summer surprise! But, obviously, they can be customized for any theme (unicorns, dinos, etc) or holiday!
Supplies:
- plastic ornaments
- dowel rods
- smiley face beads
- pastel pom poms
- star beads
- pastel round beads
- jingle bells – 12 mm
- sequins
- ribbons and trim
- hot glue gun
- hot glue sticks
- scissors
- stickers or vinyl (if you want to personalize the shaker part, or put a phrase on it, etc)
