DIY Hand Knit Bow Blanket

Hey friends, I’m super excited to share this tutorial with you! This is a beginner level tutorial – NO knitting experience needed!

Supplies:

  • yarn (I used 6 skeins in the color candy pink). You can also search other chunky yarn options on Amazon here.
  • ribbon (I needed 3 spools)
  • fray check (optional)
  • stitch markers (optional – these were very helpful when it came time to measure out and mark where I wanted to tie my bows so that I could make sure all of the bows were evenly spaced)

Instructions: The video below is very thorough and will walk you through every step of the process. I used 6 skeins of yarn to make my throw blanket (which ended up being 5′ long and 4′ wide). To add the bows I used about 24 feet of ribbon – eleven 26″ pieces.
