These DIY Sensory Bottles are super quick and easy to make, and they’re so fun to play with! Sometimes they’re also called calm down jars because that’s exactly what they do – calm you down by watching the glitter swirl around. Whether you’re making them for your kids or grandkids, or you’re making them to sit on your desk, you’re sure to love them!
Supplies:
- bottles – click here to shop the exact ones I used, or click here to shop Amazon’s options.
- light corn syrup – my bottles are 16 ounce bottles, so I used about 8 ounces of light corn syrup per bottle.
- warm water
- glitter
- clear dish soap *optional*
- clear hand soap *optional*
- food dye *optional* – I used this neon set, but there’s also this set of primary colors
- mini stirrers *optional* – I use these tiny stirrers to scoop the glitter
