These Macrame Flower Keychains make the cutest party favors and gifts, and once you get the pattern down you can whip one up in less than 10 minutes. This is a beginner level macrame project, meaning you do NOT need any macrame experience to do this craft. However, if you have never done anything like macrame before it might seem a little bit tedious and overwhelming at first, but just hang with me – I promise you can do it! I will go through the whole process step by step so that you can follow along easily.
Supplies:
- 3mm macrame cord (this comes in tons of different colors) – you’ll need a 72″ piece for the petal color, a 48″ piece for the braid color, and a 36″ piece for the center of the flower color.
- keychain/lobster claw hook (this is the one I used in the video, but you can find tons of options on Amazon or at your local craft store)
- tape – I used this gaff tape to tape the keyring to my table. The gaff tape is incredibly strong and doesn’t hurt surfaces, but you can use any type of tape.
