I LOVE turning trash into treasure, and that’s exactly what I did with this desk! Our neighbor had it out at the curb on trash day, and I thought it was just too cute to be thrown away, so I grabbed it up and brought it back to life! Refinishing things (even big pieces of furniture) with spray paint is much easier than you might think, and it’s something you can totally do as a beginner – I promise. 🙂Â
Supplies:
- Spray Paint – THIS ONE is my favorite. It’s a paint and primer in one!
- Comfort Grip (Paint Sprayer) – trust me, this is worth every penny and greatly reduces finger fatigue (which is an actual thing lol)
- Sand Paper – both options below should work just fine. I used 220 in the video, but 150 should work fine too

Instructions: Watch below to see how I painted and sanded a worn-out desk to bring it back to life! And as always, make sure you paint in a well-ventilated area and wear a mask/respirator when painting.Â
