Instructions:

  1. String the beads you plan to use for your ornaments on an extra long piece of twine, and tie it up outside somewhere you can spray paint.
  2. Spray paint the beads white. (For more info on how to paint and sand the beads, click here.)
  3. After the paint is dry, sand the beads to make them look more distressed.
  4. The snowflake I used comes with a twine loop at the top of the snowflake. Cut the loop of twine off the back of the snowflake. Now, cut a piece of twine 12″ longer than you want your garland to be.
  5. Wrap the piece of twine (two times) around the part of the snowflake where the twine loop had been previously. You only need to leave a long enough tail on one end to tie the twine in a knot, in the back of the snowflake, leaving the rest of the extra twine on the other end so that there’s room to string all the beads on.
  6. String your beads on the twine in the pattern you want.
  7. Tie the twine in a knot, at the top of the snowflake, bringing the ends of the beaded parts together.
  8. Cut off the extra twine where the knot is, and enjoy your adorable snowflake beaded garland!
